Do you think that your cooking could do with a bit of jazzing up? Perhaps you are a bit tired of cooking the same old dishes and meals, and are looking for some new recipes to try? If that's the case, then we can help: all you have to do is look to some different types of international cuisine.
There are hundreds of delicious types of cuisines out there, all of which will feature some traditional dishes that are simple enough for you to cook at home. Once you’ve built up your confidence cooking some of the easier dishes, you can then try your hand at more trickier recipes. Want to give it a try? World Cuisines That You Need To Bring To Your KitchenMediterranean Mediterranean recipes are extremely popular right now as many dietitians and food experts have announced that it can be a very healthy diet. That’s because it includes a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as healthy fish oils, which are said to slow down the aging process and development of certain illnesses. Mediterranean recipes are the easiest to whip up, and one of the simplest dishes is my favorite: A Greek Salad.
Thai
Most people prefer to get their Thai food from takeout joints, such as LonaÕs Lil Eats, as it's reasonably priced, delicious and very convenient. But making your own dumplings and spring rolls can be fun, and it’s a great way to get your kids helping in the kitchen. I don't know much about making Thai food, but I can tell you all about eating it (my son worked at a Thai restaurant for years!). Mexican
If you like spice, then you'll love Mexican food (and we're not talking Taco Bell here, either!). From different chiles, spices and herbs, there's a level of heat for everyone. Simple, authentic Mexican cuisine is generally easy to prepare as well. As I like to say, it's basically the same five ingredients cooked up in a plethora of different ways: A protein, plus rice, beans, tomatoes, onions and peppers. Not all Mexican cuisine have these same ingredients of course, but the formula is generally the same. One of my favorite Mexican dishes are simple fish tacos (though arguably it can be considered Tex-Mex). Whatever the case, this delicious soft taco recipe contains flaky white fish, crunchy purple cabbage and a zesty crema sauce.
Indian
Another cuisine that is known for its spices is Indian. These spices include curry, garam masala, fenugreek and tumeric. While there is a variety of ways to use spices in Indian cooking (like marinating) our favorite is to dry fry in a sauce pan over medium heat. The heat from dry frying the spices will draw out their natural oils and intensify their flavor. Indian cuisine is also a great option if you are vegetarian or vegan (or trying to be more mindful of the amount of meat you're consuming) as you can replace the protein in a recipe with palak, lentils or other veggies. There's also a variety of rices to choose from as well, such as basmati, jasmine and Sona Masuri. You might also like the idea of making your own naan breads.
