Recently I had the good fortune to test d̶r̶i̶v̶e̶ walk a pair of insoles from Soul Insole. I never really considered wearing insoles, mostly because I’m not on my feet a whole lot. But I should have known better than to think that the only reason to consider orthotics is on account of prolonged standing or foot pain due to illness or injury. As Soul Insole will tell you, a good insole will help to support flat feet and high arches, relieve pressure on the heel and create better posture, alignment and balance—regardless of age, illness or injury. But what’s so special about Soul Insole? I’m glad you asked.
Product Review: Soul Insole Shoe Bubbles
The Soul Insole is an arch boosting orthotic that redistributes pressure evenly across your foot to help relieve pressure from the heel and the forefoot. The soft, gel-like support helps to train your foot to strengthen its natural arch, without causing the foot to become dependent on support.
If you have Plantar Fasciitis, heel spurs or Neuroma, you’ll find that the “shoe bubble” design of the insole drops off before the forefoot and heel to somewhat suspend the bones, to offload pressure and to redistribute that pressure more evenly across the foot. It also has medial, lateral and transverse arch support!
The Soul Insole uses the existing structure of your shoe or sneaker (or heck, even slipper) to increase support to your arch. Because it’s flexible and not rigid (like other insoles can be), it will feel different in a shoe that has no support compared to a shoe that does.
As I mentioned, the compact design of the Soul Insole is made to fit inside any shoe. It’s completely washable and thanks to the regenerating adhesive, is totally reusable! With a simple wash and air dry, I swapped the insoles out from my gym shoes to my work slip-ons to a pair of heels I wore out to dinner on Valentine’s Day. The insoles stayed put each time, until I was ready to remove them. When I wore them with heels, I definitely noticed less pressure on the ball of my foot than I would normally feel without an insole.
The Soul Insole is about half the price of other commercial orthotics, which is crazy given the advanced technology and long-lastingness of the insole. It comes in a pair of easy to figure S, M and L sizes (see size chart, below).
I love the Soul Insole for its compact design, comfort and support—and I enjoy these benefits with no significant foot issues to speak of! If you want an affordable orthotic with amazing benefits at a reasonable price tag, head on over to Soul Insole and check them out for yourself!
