I have to admit that I’ve always been a sucker for mother’s day. Not because of the accolades (or that sweet, sweet breakfast in bed); no, it’s because it was the one day I knew I would be getting those oh so awesome, school made, hand made, 100% adorable mother’s day projects from my three kids. My kids are older now but you can bet your sweet asssstronaut that I kept every single one of those projects (and any others they made--I’m kooky like that)!
Now that the kids are grown and the handmade projects are a thing of the past (sigh), I still get that sweet, sweet breakfast in bed, but I also get a really nice pre$ent, taken out to lunch, and basically left alone for the rest of the day (NGL, that’s the best part).

DIY Mother's Day Coupon Book (with free printable!)
Since I can’t give your mom breakfast in bed or super cool school projects, I figured what I could do is help bring a smile to her face with some good ol’ fashioned printable Mother’s Day coupons!
Now I get that the idea of giving Mother’s Day coupons sounds tired and cliche, but believe me--IT ISN’T! Honestly, what mom is going to say no to having their car washed, being treated to a mani/pedi or taken out for a coffee, yadda yadda--whenever they want? Not this mom, that’s for sure!
Plus, these aren't your standard, cookie-cutter run of the mill coupons--these are totes adorbs, and created by moi. What could be better than that? Nothing, that's what.

Here's The How-To:
- Download the .pdf below and print out on cardstock (there are 2 coupons to a page, plus a page with a front and back side).
- Cut each coupon out, trim edges, etc. Make it neat! This is mom we’re talking about here.
- Punch a hole in the upper left hand corner and tie off with ribbon, raffia or an O ring and BICKETY BAM! Mom’s got coupons.
Want To Make it Even Fancier?
If you want to make Mom's coupon book even more special, try these crafty options:
Who’s her favorite child now, huh?
- Cut out the coupons with decorative edge scissors
- Laminate the coupons before punching
- Trim the edges with washi tape
- Create a pocket on the back of one or more of the coupons, and slip in a gift card
Who’s her favorite child now, huh?
What are you and Mom (or you and the kids) up to this Mother’s Day? Whatever you do, I hope your plans include good eats and some good times, and I will keep my fingers crossed for good weather. Happy Mother's Day!
