I know that summer can be a wonderful time of year, especially if you love your garden. The good weather just seems to help things grow and the glow of the sun just makes everything look that bit nicer. Including the people you come into contact with. After all, people are much happier on a sunny day than a wet and windy one. But, summer has its drawbacks, and while we love the heat we all have one thing in common. We want to feel cooler when the heat can get too much. So how do we do it? I wanted to share with you some of my suggestions.
Keeping Your Cool In The Heat Of The Day: My Suggestions
Think about your body temperature
It is often not about the temperature around you, but your actual body temperature that can help you to feel cool and calm. This is when wearing cooler clothing and breathable materials, lighter fitting and airy. Drinking plenty of water to keep your body and yourself hydrated. Having a flannel that you put in the fridge and apply to your head, your neck and your chest. Also getting in a cool shower, especially if you are particularly warm or sweaty can be the ultimate relief to a hot day and have you feeling much better. These are just a few things that can help make a difference to your overall body temperature, there are more ideas online.
I hope that these tips help you to keep cool during the summer weeks ahead!
