How To Accessorize Your Business Wardrobe
Less Is More
When it comes to an outward professional appearance, less is more. If you typically wear a lot of jewelry, or carry a larger handbag, you'll want to tone it down at the office. That doesn't mean you have to give up your personality altogether, but while at the office, you should aim for a more subtler version of you.
For example, if your nose is pierced and you tend to wear a nose ring, then opting for a smaller and more subtler gold nose stud may be a good idea. If you typically wear a stack of bling rings, pairing it down to just one or two favorites will help to create a more professional look.

Earrings
I am a huge fan of hoop earrings, and they can absolutely look every bit professional when worn conservatively. Simple gold, silver or even diamond hoops are perfectly acceptable so long as they are no bigger than, say, a nickel in diameter. If hoops aren't your thing, stick with polished and sensible studs. And you can't miss with an attractive pair of pearl earrings: they pretty much go with just about every outfit.
Watches
Now that we have the ability to check the time on our smartphones (and the weather, and the traffic and the...), many of us don't bother wearing a watch, although they are unquestionably among the best accessories for a professional wardrobe. Since checking your smartphone for the time is much more conspicuous than checking your watch, you might want to consider adding a lovely gold, silver, or leather-banded wristwatch to your accessory wardrobe. If you already favor a smart watch, choose a band that is simple yet sophisticated, such as a plain black or tan.
Scarves And Brooches
If your office attire generally consists of blacks and other neutral shades (like gray or brown), you can up the style factor by adding a silk scarf in a complementary color or pattern. Standard pants and skirt suits, as well as shift and sheath dresses, will benefit from their interesting addition. Should you decide not to go for something you may perceive as bold, an attractive brooch or simple stick pin can make a great addition to your outfit, especially if the piece is a family heirloom or a gift from a loved one.

Glasses
I adore a good pair of readers, and have many fun and interesting pairs that I wear often. However, at the office, I make sure my frames are neutral, professional, and always complement the shape of my face. If you wear glasses, whether they are prescription or otherwise, make sure they fit well, complement your face shape and that the frames are stylish yet neutral.
As you can see, choosing the right accessories for work can elevate your professional attire and have you exuding an air of confidence and sophistication at the office. Whether you prefer bold statement pieces or subtle accents, there are plenty of options available to suit your personal style and preferences.
