Spending a fun night with the girls is something just about every woman enjoys. Whether it's just an an impromptu get together or to celebrate something fun like Galentine's Day, spending time with your besties is all about relaxing, unwinding and enjoying a few laughs over some tasty food and yummy drink.
Here's our suggestions for hosting a night in with your best girlfriends. How To Host A Girl's Night InThe Food Getting together with the girls is more about the company you're keeping and less about the fanciness of your soiree. Keep the food simple with some charcuterie boards full of meats, cheeses, nuts, crackers and fruit. If you do want to serve something more filling, how about making your own individual pizzas? Set up a toppings bar with pizza sauce, chopped veggies, sliced meats, different cheeses--and let the ladies create their own. It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with, and there will be plenty to go around! The Drinks Along with the food, you'll want to provide drinks, including the alcoholic and non-alcoholic kind. You can't go wrong with light beer, a bottle of red, a bottle of white, some sparkling water and, of course, soft drinks. However, you can make the evening a little more whimsical and special by creating a signature drink. To keep it simple, choose a sangria that you can keep in an icy pitcher next to a framed description of the drink recipe.

The Fun
What would a night in with the girls be without some form of fun and games? In between the gossip and chit chat, try your hand at one of the games below, or one (or more!) of these party game ideas from Buzzfeed. And if you want your significant other to think you were pillow fighting in your pjs like all girls do when they get together with their friends, we'll vouch for you!
Putting It All Together Having food, drinks and fun would be NO fun if you didn't have the space for it. Be sure to set a lovely table, and have a separate, dedicated space for drinks. Place enough snacks and hors d'oeuvres in all parts of your home where friends might gather (think: living room, dining room and kitchen). Be sure your bathroom is stocked with fresh towels, air freshener and a full roll of TP (trust us on this).
Hopefully, this post will inspire you to host a Galentine's Day or girl's night in with your friends. Remember, you don't need an excuse for getting together with your BFFs and creating long-lasting memories--any opportunity is a good opportunity!
