So many women think that their legs are a lost cause. Spider and varicose veins, cellulite and scars have many of us keeping our legs under wraps. But that doesn't have to be the case--we have eight tried and true tips that will help you get sexy legs in no time.
Eight Tips For Getting Sexy LegsGet More Steps In Each Day If you want to condition and shape up your legs a little bit more, one of the easiest ways to do it is to get more steps in. Aim to walk as far and wide as you can each day, even going out of your way to take the stairs and park further away than you usually do. All of these steps add up - you might feel silly at first, but it’ll really help you. Not only will your legs shape up, you’ll enjoy the plethora of other benefits you get from getting plenty of steps each day, such as feeling happier and better long term health! If you lead a relatively sedentary lifestyle, try starting a walking regimen with a goal of 6,000 steps a day. Each week (or month, depending on your goals), try to increase your steps by 1,000. There are lots of inexpensive, efficient fitness trackers out there that can help you track your progress. It can be tough to get steps in each day if you have a desk job, but sitting for a prolonged period of time has it's health risks. If you don't have or want a gym membership, consider purchasing a treadmill or stationary bike for home use to help you get steps in while you binge watch the next hot Netflix show! Drink Plenty Of Water It's well known that water helps to flush your body of toxins and clear your skin, but did you know it also:
Exfoliate Regularly
Exfoliating your skin helps to keep it smooth and glowing, You get rid of nasty dead skin cells that can make legs and the rest of your body rough, and you help to keep the blood flowing as it should be. You may even find a reduction in things like cellulite and stretch marks with regular exfoliation. Coffee scrubs are fantastic for this, and give almost an instant shine and glimmer to the skin. You won’t believe how smooth and soft they feel afterwards, either! DIY Coffee Scrub:
Mix the coffee and brown sugar together in a bowl. Add the coconut oil and vanilla extract, stir to combine. Store in an airtight glass container and keep in the fridge. Will keep for about 2 weeks. Invest In A Quality Razor There’s nothing worse than having razor burns and other uncomfortable nicks and scrapes on your legs from using a low quality razor. The best thing you’ll ever do (if you prefer shaving as a form of hair removal, that is) is to invest in a great razor. There are razor subscriptions you can look at that will deliver a new, high quality razor to your door as often as you like so that you don’t always run out and then end up using a blunt one or rushing out to buy another terrible one. Each hair removal method has their pros and cons. Waxing can be good for exfoliation and perfectly smooth legs for around a week, but it doesn’t last all that much longer and some people find it too painful. Then there are permanent hair removal methods, but you have to be in those for the long haul! If you must shave, make sure you’re doing it with a high quality razor, as well as a great shaving cream or foam. Be extra careful if you have sensitive skin. Go slow!
Try A Targeted Beauty Products
If you have specific problems with your legs that you’d like to target, do your research before trying any special beauty products. Products like Venorex claim to get rid of spider veins, but you need to make sure you take your time and read up to ensure you’re using something safe, as well as spending your cash on something that actually works. There are creams that claim to get rid of cellulite and tighten your legs, when all they really do is moisturize. Don’t be drawn in by marketing scams. Make sure something actually has a chance of working first. Moisturize Every Day Make sure you keep your skin shiny and smooth by using a nice moisturizer each day. You have plenty of choices depending on your skin type and the level of moisture you’d like to achieve. Personally, I like to use an in-shower moisturizer (along with a moisturizing body wash), which makes it an easy-peasy no brainer. When you’re ready to leave the house, apply a little oil to your legs for a healthy shine. They’ll have a sexy sheen that lasts and they’ll look extra smooth too!
Get Your Tan On
A light, healthy glow will help to hide to a myriad of cosmetic issues when it comes to any part of the body, quite frankly.
