Let's start dismantling the windows. Most sliding windows are removable, and newer windows are built-in for easier and simpler cleaning. The hard dirt - dust, soot and animal excrement will be cleaned with a cloth and soapy water. Do not be tempted to clean the windows with a brush or anything that can scratch the glass and profile, wash the windows thoroughly and wipe with a dry, clean cloth. We clean the shutters with soapy water and a dishwashing sponge, rinse with clean water and let them dry in the sun. With all due care to windshields and shutters, window rails are a serious problem. The rails accumulate dust and dirt and are difficult to clean because they are so narrow. So how do you get into these nooks and crannies to ensure all specs of dirt are gone?
Go through with a vacuum cleaner with a narrow mouth on the rails and vacuum the big dirt - dust curls, leaves and so on. If you do not have a vacuum cleaner, a regular hair dryer will do the job, instead of a vacuum cleaner it will blow what is needed. This is a great way to suck out all the dirt without having to stretch, reach or use other equipment. Wrap a damp cloth with a little detergent on a brush and pass inside the rails, you can add a little detergent as needed. Next, we will replace the wet cloth with a dry, clean cloth and go over the rails to absorb the liquids and polish the rail. Meanwhile, the window panes are dry and clean but not shiny. Go over them with snow clear window spray and a dry cloth. Although the old myth recommends polishing the window with a newspaper, or lemon juice. These ways are still effective although a little more primitive!
