June 25th marked the 16th annual BET Awards, hosted this year by comedienne and actress, Leslie Jones.  The BET awards celebrate achievements in entertainment; film, music, sports and more.  Yeah, yeah Beyonce 7 noms...yeah, yeah Remy beat Nicki...yeah yeah, Tamar's wig...but what about the fashion?  Who rocked it and who knocked it on the silver carpet @ the BET Awards this year?

Listen, I know don't have any bidness calling these outfits "not hot", because I'm pretty sure any one of them cost more than my brand new car, so I've chosen to call them "meh" instead.  And besides, I gotta give these ladies props for creativity and for having the guts to express themselves through their fashion choices, so who am I to judge?

What About The Bros?

Men's fashion at the BET Awards almost always runs the gamut from super fresh to super mess.  There were lots of looks I really liked this year, and just as many I didn't.  I'm pretty sure a few of these dudes were under the impression they were going to their auntie's annual backyard bbq.  Take a look:

By the way, a little bird tells me that the beautiful and talented Christina Cooper has a new movie coming out this fall entitled "Never Heard", and features an ensemble cast that includes Karrueche Tran and Lil Romeo.  I am totes looking forward to seeing this one!
