​Christina Cooper was first known for playing Miko on Netflix’s “Dear White People” as an actress, then eventually branched off into becoming a writer, director & produced as well. She went on to independently self produce “South Central Love” the movie featuring actors such as the lead Jamal Henderson, Vanessa Simmons, Timothy Delaghetto, & many more talented actors. The film was recently acquired by BET Networks making its national television 8 million household debut in March 2020. The movie is now available on BET Plus, which is BET’s new streaming platform. Christina is one of the youngest Directors/Producers to independently film a movie from start to finish with her own crew/funding and get it aired on BET Networks.

Christina is hoping this self made attitude inspires woman of color around the world who might be struggling financially to still push to create films no matter if they have the funds or not. “A lot of us may not have rich families, be famous, or know anyone in the industry to genuinely help us, so it’s important to really work hard, believe in yourself and manifest your goals,” says Christina. The movie is also now available on DVD at Best Buy and at Walmart. Christina is gearing up for the next film entitled “Rising 6”, which will be an original Super hero film.

​Los Angeles – Webber Films, Riveting Entertainment and Fathom Events have come together to present an exclusive, one night only, debut event for the movie premiere of NEVER HEARD. The film, starring David Banner, Romeo Miller, Robin Givens, Karrueche Tran, Dijon Talton, with a quick cameo of Christina Cooper, will officially be in more than 540 theaters nationwide on Thursday, November 1 at 7 p.m. local time.

Aaron Davis (Banner) is accused of murder and incarcerated for a crime he swears that he did not commit. His son Jalen (Miller) is forced to grow up on the streets of Los Angeles without the guidance of a father and primarily raised by his mother Shala (Givens) and Grandmother Camilla (Karen Abercrombie). Jalen finds his life at risk after his friend Diggy (Talton) decides to partner with one of the biggest drug dealers in the city leaving a large debt to be recouped. Everything seems to turn around when Aaron is reminded to put his faith in God first and use the power of prayer to help solve his problems. Will Aaron find a way to prove his innocence and save his son's life before it is too late?

Hosted by BET alum Jamie Foxx, this annual event showcases the best of tv, movies, sports and, of course, music.

​At just 23 years old, Christina Cooper is officially the youngest woman on television to produce and host her own televised talk show, "The Christina Cooper show" which will air this summer on The Arroyo Channel. They have already started filming in Los Angeles, with amazing crew members such as Joshua Rieger, Ray Choi, Kimisha Gill, and photographer Patricklee Hamilton. 

If you haven't heard of Christina yet--don't worry--you will.  She's an uber-talented model and actress who, in addition to talk show host, has recently added movie director and entrepreneur to her resume!  Recently, Christina wrote, directed and produced her first film, “Loyalty", about a young African American man living dangerously  in the Crenshaw District of L.A..  She's also appeared on Netflix's "Dear White People", filmed a television pilot called "Fourth Down" and starred in two incredible movies, "Lipstick" and "Never Heard".  

Christina's show will target all age ranges and will gear towards inspiring people all over the country to spread love by being kind and to follow their dreams. We've seen model, actress, director and entrepreneur (phew!) Christina Cooper making mad moves in the talent industry, and now we've learned that she's recently done some promo work in Jamaica with cosmetics giant Covergirl! Even though this was for promotion, it was definitely a huge step for Christina in becoming an official Covergirl ambassador!

​At just 23 years old, the beautiful and talented Christina Cooper is used to being in front of a camera—but this time around, she is writing, directing and producing her first film, “Loyalty”—and the story line sounds amazing!
 
Loyalty follows a young African American man through his tumultuous journeys living in the Crenshaw District, a neighborhood in South Los Angeles, California, and the dangersome issues he faces getting involved with the wrong group of friends.  By the end of the film, the only person to show “loyalty” to him is his rebellious girlfriend.

​Loyalty stars Jamal R. Henderson, Chris Massey, Christina Cooper, Patrick Cloud, Viandra Dunn, Dawn Raven, Byron Haskins, Carlene Corsey and Tamera Kissen.

​Steven Alan Davis, best known for known “205 the Series”, “Super Power Beat Down” and most recently “Lipstick: the Movie”, co-directs.  Stevie Murrell (“Little Cousin”) is the cinematographer, while behind-the-scenes photography is handled by Patrick Hamilton.
 
This is the first script Christina has ever written.  Jennifer Cooper, who is also in the entertainment industry, assisted as the script advisor for this film.
 
Loyalty is set to hit theaters in Los Angeles sometime in April 2018 and we can’t wait!  As always, stay tuned for more info!

There's no escaping the rumors!

Paparazzi approached model and actress Christina Cooper on her way into a local radio station in Hollywood, CA December 4th, where they showered her with questions about her & singer Chris Brown's rumored relationship.  Despite her wide smile, Christina refused to comment as she dodged the paps and made her way into the building for a scheduled radio interview.  Sources say the two have been spotted together and could be dating, but with Christina keeping mum about the sitch, it's anyone's guess!

​Breezy recently started posting images of Indonesian pop star Agnez Mo on his Instagram, but that didn't deter him from ❤'ing Christina's modeling pictures on on the social media app as well, fueling those dating rumors!  Sly devil, that Chris.

​Regardless of are they or aren't they, Christina has made it clear that she's focused on herself and her career at the moment.  Recently, she's been recognized and accepted into the Emmys Television Academy (congrats, girl!) and has been working hard on a few new movies and will even start filming a new tv series next month, too.    We can't wait to see what she has planned next!

​Is there anything Christina Cooper can't do?  This hot, young supermodel and talented actress is now CEO of her own company, making her one of the youngest actresses in Hollywood to become a corporate CEO in the United States!  In addition to her successful collaboration with makeup brand Miss Mascara, Christina is now busy overseeing her own brand, "The Christina Cooper Collection", also available at Miss Mascara.  At the moment the collection consists of limited edition t-shirts, but in time will grow into several more fashionable, ready to wear pieces. This collection, along with future collections, is a labor of love for Christina, something she focuses on when not on set. Being in the fashion industry as a model, Christina was inspired to create and design cool pieces she hasn't seen on the runway, as well as reinventing pieces she has worn on the runway!

The Christina Cooper Collection will be sold at Lavish in Pasadena, California as well as online through Miss Mascara.  I am sooooooo looking forward to the ongoing success of Christina's fashion collections, as well as Christina's future endeavors, which I will be sure to share with you all!  Oh!  And Christina also let us in on a  l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶  big secret: She is releasing a book at the end of this year, so stay tuned for the scoop on that as well--I can't wait!

Her celebrity stylist, Dutch Davis, chose a gorgeous red gown with a long train to captivate the red carpet, as it did. He paired it with gorgeous green diamond earrings to add a pop of color and a red diamond clutch. The hair was styled by celebrity hair artist O’rell Roberts. He did an old fashioned side wave with a puffed, curly ponytail. And of course celebrity makeup artist Steven Tabimba took care of the red carpet beauty look. We live for this ENTIRE look! 

​This look made Christina stand out from the crowd and, being her first red carpet, she was definitely turning heads. So you might ask, who is Christina Cooper? Well she is most known for playing Miko on the Netflix tv series "Dear White People", she plays Korryn on Dorothy Outley's original tv series "Fourth Down"  and she plays Chloe in the new movie "Lipstick", directed by Steven Alan Davis. You can also catch Christina in Josh Webber's new film "Never Heard", playing Camper Crystal, alongside Karrueche Tran and Romeo Miller (hits theaters January 2018).
